This Valentine's Day, share your love with your little ones at Johnston Public Library's Bouncing Babies event. It includes songs, books, rhymes and more, all perfect for the development of babies up to 18 months. It will begin at 9:15 a.m. and end at 9:45.
Afterward, at 3:30 to 5 p.m., high school volunteers will be sharing the gift of learning with kids aged 9 and up at Homework Help. Students are welcome to drop by to receive free, one-on-one help in the areas of math, reading, science, English, social studies and science. This will take place in the East Meeting Room.
At 6 to 8 p.m., don't miss out on the ESL beginner class, ideal for those who are working on English as a Second Language and need some assistance. No registration is required for this class that will take place in the East Meeting Room.
Thursday Night Book Club will be holding its monthly meeting at 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. in the Southeast Corner, and will be featuring coffee, treats and a great time for all in attendance. The book of the month is Home Fire by Kamila Shamsie.
